Aims & Objectives
- To provide an holistic service that offers practical and emotional support, using both traditional and complementary therapies.
- To ensure that adult rehabilitative treatment includes a focus on parenting.
- To view children as clients in their own right, and provide them with their own treatment programme
- To work closely with families and support them through the process and maintenance of change.
- To collaborate with families to design and deliver a treatment programme that is built around their specific and individual needs.
- To offer support to extended family members who have taken parenting responsibility for children where the parents are problem substance users.
- To work in partnership with referring agencies, including Social Services, where families are involved in the Safe-guarding Children process.
- To employ trained, and experienced staff, with expertise in the areas of problem substance use, children and families therapeutic work, systemic practice, and complementary therapies.
