CoreKids’ success is based on the unique combination of working with the whole family whilst providing abstinence-based, therapeutic treatment for the parent with drug and alcohol issues within The Core Trust programme. Our statistics show that 80% of CoreKids clients successfully complete the programme.

The aim of CoreKids is to offer the family emotional and practical support to build upon existing parenting skills and relationships through a range of family, parent and child-focused interventions.

CoreKids is available to anyone who is attending The Core Trust Day and AfterCare programmes, who is a parent or carer for a child. The Core Trust structured programmes combine traditional and complementary therapies, as well as practical support, to address the parent’s problematic substance use.
