CoreKids recognises that adults aren’t the only ones affected by addiction.

Parental problem substance use can cause significant harm to children of every age from birth to adulthood. In order to address this, the service aims to help children to be safe and healthy, adults to be effective parents and families to communicate.

CoreKids is a holistic therapeutic service for children, and parents affected by substance misuse. By working with the family as a unit, strengthening the bonds within the family and improving the wellbeing of the children, we believe change is possible.

We offer a range of services with a family focus.

-CoreKids Wandsworth and CoreKids Hertfordshire are free to any parents with past or current substance use issues who live in Wandsworth or Hertfordshire. 

-HertSpeak (our Comic Relief funded project) is free to any parents with past or current alcohol use, their children, partners and wider family members who live in Hertfordshire.
